The Apeks Swivel Inflator Valve is the industry standard and is fitted to almost every new suit made around the world. The Apeks Inflator is very low profile and features a domed surface to limit the snag hazard regardless of where the valve is positioned. The inflator valve can rotate a total of 360 degrees allowing for a wide range of hose configurations, it doesn’t matter if one rig routes the drysuit hose under the right arm and another under the left. To aid fitting there is a stop positioned at the 0/360 degree point. The Apeks Suit Valve is operated by pressing on the large button in the centre, the strong spring allows for a precise control of air flow as well as stopping the flow dead when the button is released. The valve requires minimal maintenance but if it does start to stick it should be sent to a drysuit technician for a service. Two nipples are available, the Seatec type is that found as standard on BCD inflators, this should be chosen if you want to keep your BCD and drysuit hoses the same connection.
